Maguelonne Walewska

A dazzling and warm signature

2021-11-09 - Maguelone-087-Edit05-2

Self-taught, curious and receptive to atmospheres, Maguelonne Walewska has a passion for interiors. Initiated by her parents, she decides to devote herself to decoration. She studies decorative painting at the famous Van der Kelen School in Brussels, where she learns to master the art of colours, trains her eye and develops her technique. She then starts working freelance on her first sites, in an architecture agency.

In 1995, she opens her own interior architecture agency. This allows her to work on private projects, where she can express her taste for warm interiors and let her chromatic palette sign real three-dimensional paintings.

Carefully chosen colours, fabrics and tapestry, tailor-made furniture… Interiors take life following scenarios imagined by Maguelonne Walewska.

Apartments in Paris, a chalet in Switzerland, a country house in the South of France or a manor in Normandy: each place imagined by Maguelonne Walewska translates both her clients’ desires and her personal decorative note. Inspired by her many travels, each creation expresses and respects a perfect balance between timeless classicism, elegant motifs and refined materials.

In June 2011, she embarks on a new adventure and releases her first furniture collection, in collaboration with the best French artisans. Chairs, couches, dressing tables, consoles or mirrors, she decides to produce pieces that have found their right place in her clients’ interiors and will express her signature and good taste in other environments. The choice of the materials, perfectly well finished, as well as her ingenuity, characterize all her creations and inspire style to her interiors: sophisticated and chic, with a bright touch of colours.
